Our Programs

Jugnoo Initiative offers a range of programs to its clients. To improve general health and wellbeing, our programs focus on supporting our clients during and after their treatment. Our clients can join us from from the convenience of their homes or from work, on iPad, laptop or phone.

Odyssey Peer Support

Group of Friends

 

 

 


Odyssey Peer Support offers encouragement and shares ideas for coping. It supports cancer patients, survivors and family caregivers, helping them navigate the process of a life changing experience.

Odyssey Peer Support provides NON-MEDICAL support through shared experiences.

TAICHI— Meditation in Motion

A healing art, Taichi movements helps develop and strengthen the internal body, thereby promoting better health and wellness. The concept is to promote the free flow of the body’s natural energy referred to as Chi. It is the pathway for achieving balance and harmony resulting in good health. This represents an approach that is preventive in nature: one of the pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

 

     MAIN BENEFITS:

  • Strengthen joints and muscle

  • Improves blood circulation that helps  lower blood pressure

  • Improves flexibility and balance

  • Helps boost the immune system

  • Helps to manage pain

Wellness Yoga is a practice for strength, balance and awareness of the body and mind. The practice creates a clear and fit mind to bring about a conducive process for healing.

Life is all about facing challenges. However life after cancer can be different. Our compassionate life coach works with you to find your way.

Nutrition & Lifestyle

Cherry Tomatoes

Good Nutrition and a balanced Lifestyle are critical today as we live in a world of high stress, junk food and toxin overload.

This program debunks common food myths, clears the confusion about what to eat and not to eat, and how to maintain a healthy and practical diet with a supportive lifestyle.

 

Holistic nutrition helps to reclaim energy, manage weight and resolve digestive disorders with a gradual change to diet and lifestyle.

Knitting & Crochet

Knitting and Crochet is helpful in improving focus, a concern for some people after undergoing chemotherapy due to a condition called chemo brain.

 

Our members are provided with easy to follow videos to knit and crochet on their own time.

 

Hats and knitted slippers are donated to the local hospital for use by patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Bright Room

Casual conversations are uncommon in the fast-paced life. Our life coach dedicate their time for a heart to heart talk. You may not have a lot to say but you may still need someone to hear. Meet a compassionate and understanding friend... over a cupppa tea.

 

 

Creative Vibes

Art Supply

Arts is an effective medium of self expression. Join us on a creative journey where you will use a range of techniques to find your own artistic vibes.
